The Oklahoma Sooners will go head to head with the West Virginia Mountaineers, at the University of Phoenix Stadium, for a chance to be named Tostitos Fiesta Bowl Champions.
The WV Mountaineers will be looking to utilize their 4th ranked running game against the Sooners tough defense. RB Allen Patrick is great at both rushing and catching. The Sooners have the eighth best rush defense in the league and it may be wiser for the Mountaineers to test out their passing game. They’re going to have to make big plays in the air to beat Oklahoma. Their QB Pat White will need to connect throughout the day with WR Darius Reynaud and WR Steve Slaton. The Oklahoma Sooners have a talented crew on offense with QB Sam Bradford. He’s got many different weapons to choose from with RB Chris Brown, WR Juaquin Iglesias and WR Malcolm Kelly. The Mountaineers have a great rush defense but they haven’t faced a rush attack like Oklahoma’s yet.
